Unemployment Rate: The unemployment rate for individuals with secondary education or higher was 6.5% in 2023-2024.
Graduate Unemployed: Reports citing it as high as 29.1%.
Illiterates: who have an unemployment rate of only about 2%–3.4%.
In India youth are highly attracted to Government vacancies(UPSC/PCS), both central and state sectors, well one of the prime reasons to be on positive note is, “job security/serving ideology.” To be honest to the point, unemployment rate is non-negotiable. To eradicate unemployment, generating employment is the primary solution, up-skilling minds with proper education and awareness is secondary solution.
Unemployment in India is the prime reasons behind increase rate of crime. Sadly, we must accept the fact. Urban areas blessed with high unemployment rate in contrast with rural areas. Human trafficking, drug peddlers targeting youth. Adults who couldn’t able to achieve dreamt jobs targeting innocent beings. Cheating people on the name love, trapping, blackmailing, many more strengthens the plot. When we dig in deep, it says zero utilisation of skills, improper guidance, distractions, wrong lane, etc. Very few are able to surpass the Natures’ test. Awareness and proper education must be filled in the minds of youth. For women, BHAROSA centres, SHE teams, Software posh helpdesk many are handy. It is not just women, men too becoming the targets. Lack of knowledge and improper skills are the prime reasons behind increment.

Learn skills, do not fall in the trap of any exam preparation too long. Vacancies are limited and the aspirant count is in lakhs. No matter how much we try. only those number οf presented vacancies will be filled. Example, “i.e, 950(lets’ say this year available vacancies)” will be filled, recruited, onboarded. What about rest? Do not go for prestige, ego of clearing exam or even extremist activities such as suicide. Please don’t. Kindly learn skills and reduce unemployment. If UPSC works we can serve. If not, we can serve in other ways aswell(Career Choices). Nothing is one night achievement. Years of effort and consistency matters the most.
Each and every individual is born with a skill. To uplift the skill which they have, may take time. Let say, Person A and Person B started their journey together. Person A cleared exam and became an IAS officer, Person B who also has nonetheless same skillset but failed in clearing. Reason: to some extent examiner evaluation or a bit luck factor in terms of panel members or even evaluation perspectives, etc. Person A became officer, what about Person B? THINK – Here we go the “Unemployment Boom.” Few are also choosing illegal gateways to earn finance. Below update is one of the recent examples among many.
